About Wild Sparrow
“Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31 ESV
Growing from the imagination and longtime dream of artist Kyra Manyik, Wild Sparrow was established in 2024. An artist from a young age, Kyra took a special interest in printmaking and book design while studying art at Ball State University. Following her time at Ball State, Kyra has worked both professionally and personally in the areas of art and design.
The name Wild Sparrow takes its roots from scripture. It is inspired by the scripture Matthew 10:28-31, which describes God’s care for us. Captivated by the encouragement of that scripture, Kyra named her company Wild Sparrow. She hopes her work brings glimpses and reminders of God’s goodness, faithfulness, love, and care for each one of us.
Wild Sparrow offers a variety of woodcut prints and carvings. Each piece of art is carefully hand-crafted by Kyra. Wild Sparrow also provides book cover and zine design services.
